Update on Sarah Siano

Thanks to all who prayed and to the Lord for working on Sarah's behalf. She was released from the hospital and was feeling well enough today to even go shopping. The Dr.s believe that if the appendix is involved it may be just in the very early stages of some sort of trouble but that the real issue may have been some other problem which seems to have been resolved on its own. We all wish her the best these next weeks with all the activities involved with the wedding.

Sarah Siano

Sarah is Becca's sister and is planning to be married this coming weekend near Cancun. Tim and Becca are going down for the wedding while Jacob and Matthew stay with their friends, Anna and Kenny, who have been family to them while they were stationed at Whiteman AFB. Today Tim called to say that Sarah had gone to the hospital with severe pain and after tests etc. she is looking to have an apendectomy on Monday. Hard thing to have stuff like that happen just before your wedding especially with it being out of the country and so many people making special arrangements to share your special day. I know she would appreciate prayer.

Family updates!

As soon as this is posted there will certainly be more current news... but I will post these items non the less.

Dave is looking for another roommate. Pray that he finds a "good" renter soon.

Beth is coming down the home stretch. Jason could come any time. I, Mama, will be going to Radford for a week or so to play with the other four while she, TJ and baby adjust.

Melody is "craving" McDonalds french fries..... and will be consequently having a little brother(Josh hopes so) or sister for Sarah and Morgan around May. This is good timing since they leave for Missouri to start their missionary training next August.

Tim has moved into his apartment/townhouse in Murfreesboro, TN just southeast of Nashville and started his job. Becca and boys will be coming down sometime in the first part of November.

So.... unless anyone else has any news.... that's it for now.

Princess date!

Last Sunday, Oct 5th, Nana and Sarah went on a special princess date to Disney on Ice.

These are a few pictures Mel took when Sarah was getting ready for the Big Event!

First, a little lipstick

Before the show started we checked out the display of all the Disney princesses. Their gowns were on display as well as key props for each tale, such as Mrs. Pots and Chip and the glass encased rose for Beauty and the Beast. Sarah especially loved the Cinderella one. Then we found our seats and the show began.

First Micky, Minny and Goofy came out in their car. It broke down and Donald Duck came in to "help" fix it.... but alas, he couldn't. SOOOOO....Tow-Mater came to the rescue, accompanied by all of the cast from cars. they were able to get Micky's car started and off they went.

The next part of the show was a nice shortened version of "The Little Mermaid". Sarah knew all the characters and was most impressed.

Then there was a production of "The Lion King"... all shortened but full of intricately costumed characters.

After a brief intermission the second half of the show was a tale of how Tinker Bell became a fairy and saved Spring. The Fairy Queen was especially beautiful and floated down from the "sky".

All of the sets and costumes were lovely. Sarah was in her element!
