5/16/12 - Zoe - Playing with a toy camera puts it up to her eye and says"Cheeeezy!" and then looks at you and comments, "AWE!!!!"
9-6-08 - Sarah (3): (during Trop. Storm Hanna while we were walking down the sidewalk...I told her that it was great that God watered all my flowers for me...she responded with "yes, so they can all grow into big trees!!! and mama, the sidewalk is ALIVE!!" (it was covered in crape myrtle blossoms and she thought from all the rain, God had made the sidewalk come back from being "dead") :)
9/4/08 -Mama Beth (explaining that Pancakes have several "nicknames") Mama Beth: "Hey guys, did you know that Pancakes can also be called Hot Cakes or Flap Jacks?" Sophie: (very seriously) "I just really love Fat Cracks!!!" (I think Mama Beth needs to enunciate a little better.)
Sarah: "Mom, can we see Nanna at her house?" (as we were driving there)Mama:"Nanna's running errands, so we won't see her." Sarah: "Mama, can you drop me at errands so I can see Nanna?"
Sophie, talking to Papa and Mama at dinner: "Yep, my Cubbies teacher says we get to have something out of the treasure box if we 'be attention' (pay attention) good...and I'm a great 'Attenturer'!"
Mya(age 2): (this morning after coming downstairs to find Sophie and Ryan snuggled in bed with me) "Ryan! I need a snack...I NEED A SNACK, Buddy!!!"
Ryan(age 5): "I wonder where Mr. Reece is?" (Ryan's P.E. teacher's been gone for a couple months) "I guess he's gone to Hawaii or something!"
