Renovation?

Papa has always wanted to use the dining room as a dining room but it was too hard to pass through to the family room with the table and chairs in there. Also I have always been frustrated with the dining table in the family room because it takes up so much space and limits the seating arrangements. So the solution turned out to be very simple.... knock out the half wall between the living room and dining room. Also I bore a hole in the wall between the living room and dining room down at baseboard level to allow for an extension cord to run through so I can put the buffet on that side of the room and plug in a lamp. The pictures explain it better.

I have always wanted to have the Christmas tree in the family room too and now we can. The tressel table is in the room off the living room and works well there.
